| "riverboat" deck:: Jumbo indices like this deck features are commonplace now because many players have difficulty seeing the letters and suits of cards as they get older. This deck is one example of how card makers are making specialty decks for people to play with better accuracy. Other manufacturers make decks with four differently coloured suits, which can be especially helpful to distinguish between the similar looking spades and clubs. |

"square deal" deck:: This whimsical deck is fun because of its perfectly square shape, which is easy to fan in your hand regardless of which end is up because of the indices on all four corners. The drawback to this deck is that it is harder to shuffle, but it is always a conversation starter when you pull a deck out like this to play with. |

round deck:: Even more inventive is this round deck with five-headed court cards. The detailing is even more simplified than usual modern decks and the jack of Hearts has lost both his feather and his axe, while the jack of diamonds has lost his weapon. The pips are cleverly arranged in the centre of the cards, creating beautiful patterns. |

"crooked" deck:: This variant on the modern Bicycle deck is fun but is no excuse for playing "crooked" by cheating. The cards are oddly ergonomic by fitting nicely in your hand but again are a bit tricky to shuffle. These are hands-down the wackiest jacks I've ever seen! |
