Steph and Piston are running out of options. Locked out of their jobs at the mill and with their band abandoned by talented vocalist Marie-Lou, they face a future where their only certainties are smoking pot, having sex and lobster poaching. A current of violence and hopelessness courses through their lives from which they are struggling to free themselves. As a way out, Steph embarks on a series of sexual encounters: with Rose, the mature and seductive bar owner; with Piston's ex Marie-Lou; and with longtime friend Charles who is looking for more than the jack off sessions which Steph offers in the parking lot.
